This has nothing to do with dogs going to heaven. I admire the author for her courage and tenacity however the book was more about the authors struggles with her own sexuality and less to do with dogs in heaven. Having just lost my beloved Hannah I wanted to read about what happens to our beloved friends when they pass on. I was needing to be inspired and encouraged and instead I was bombarded with an autobiography of the authors life as a dog trainer and her struggle with her own life. There was one paragraph of where she talks about her beloved Errika when she passes and says that when dogs die they are greeted by other dogs they have known in their life. I expected more stories maybe relayed to her by her numerous clients she has as a dog trainer that would coincide with her story but there were none. I feel that the author missed an incredible opportunity to speak to her clients about their personal stories on losing a pet. It would have been so much better than the story of her personal life.Product details

I Loved this book. It gave biblical proof that dogs DO go to Heaven!! I love it because there are a few there that I want to see again!!!

People believe what they want to believe, I choose to believe that my beautiful boys that I have lost are in heaven and one day we will all be together again.
We all have had challenges in our lives. Karyn shares her personal story in such an honest way. Her love of animals has driven her career as a dog trainer. Her experiences with Erika (her first dog) are such a comfort to me. The bond we develop with our animals is so special, their unique unconditional love is constant in a chaotic world. I felt once again reassured that the bond we develop with our animals will continue beyond this life. Thank you Karyn for sharing your story with us.
Great book for a friend who recently lost her dog...
I enjoyed the story of the author's life. She spoke of her childhood, her struggle with her sexuality, her business ventures, her love of dogs, and her life as a guy woman.
I had the benefit of hearing Karyn speak at the 2016 International Association of Canine Professionals and was amazed by her personal story that lead to this book. Truly inspiring and an easy read. Hard to put down once you open it. If you've lost a beloved dog, it will heal your heart and lift your spirits. If you love dogs, you must read this! Great gift idea!
